let's discuss naps...

okay. . . people need their space. I GET IT. i'm just not...very good at it ...at detaching after having attached, but I CAN !

anyway, today was a blur of orientations. oh the mass exam was a joke. o_o i hope i din't make no silly mistakes. but it was like pure math basically. oh not the "pure" math that math students do. but to nurses, haha. no "theory". but after that, we had a powerpoint on orientation, met our tutor (who seems nice) & went to visit ameel for awhile. which was nice =) she forgot to give me candy.

then i got a bruise. i don't recall how, i just remember my knee hurting all day. n i have a bruise.
then a debate about whether we should get the h1n1 shot, and if it's required for clinical.

kinda worried, kinda not for clinical tomorrow, cuz it is orientation only after all. but buddy shift on thursday, and it's a night shift.
friday is an early morning day of some other orientation, which we don't know is taking place where. o_o so yar. so many orientations.

FRS on pain was... a bore. but ... yar. long bus ride home. and
NAPS ! i swear. i hate it when my mom gets home, then i can't nap. seriously, cuz she'll be like "yannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn ~ " -____-;; (my chinese name). but yah. MOM, i just want a 10 minute nap ! days get tiring.... lol

anyway, that sums up the day, since i have nothing to do tonight. i'm thinking to work on some lab prep for next week, or else sim lab scenarios > < cannot allow myself to slack. SIGH

yes. i miss him. n this is like.. not the first time we've had this issue. i'm sorry. please don't leave me for this. it makes me feel insecure every time...

and so i was eating my fortune cookie today, from dinner the other day. and it says "you could prosper in the field of medicine." hmm.. i think i'll keep this one to push me thru my studies in nursing ^^ haha. definitely nice to have a little encouragement come my way.

aside from this, my day started with LAB ... and. it was quite nice, the tutor was really nice. =) tho i don't think i'm skill enough from one lab to do a real ostomy yet. but we'll see. lmao. x)

anywhos, time to study for dosage calc exam tomorrow. and meeting the clinical tutor tomorrow, this should be good. . .

stress level decrease .. a bit

VIVIAN IS BACK ONLINE ^^ finally. gosh. anyhow. today was like total stressful day in the morning. i barely slept last night, i was so nervous i was waking up every hour. like EVERY HOUR. not even kidding. the horrid thing was, felt like i didn't even sleep at all -___- .

BUT, i got through it, thanks to the wonderfully nice simulation coordinator. she was absolutely lovely & EXTREMELY encouraging. we need more of these instructors to boost our confidence, and less of those ones.. who tend to ... yea. let's not talk about it. but it definitely made my stress level decrease as she talked me through it and kept giving me positive feedback. =)

I PASSED. according to her, still needs to be approved by the dean. but she says it should be fine as far as she's concerned.

SO i decided to take andi up on her offer, to see cindy, and just treat myself to a little dinner & movie. (not my pick of movie) but i invited EJ. & yarr. we watched "the stepfather"

it said it was a "horror" ... i was waiting for the scene in the trailer with the chainsaw. didn't happen the way it's show. (sorry spoilers). mmm to summarize the movie in vivian plot form.
intro's the killer > he moves & starts fresh > son comes home > suspense > stepfather pops up randomly everywhere thru-out the movie > kills > kiss > kiss > kills > talks > blah. > pops up > etc. YOU KNOW THE REST lol. i dunno. i won't spoil the ending. but. imo, not too bad.

i was ready to be a lot scared than it was. but yar. just suspenseful. lol

i'm ready to sleep. still got lots to do. stress is only gone for .. one day. n back to work tomorrow T_T.

the "positive thinking" week

rwar ! seems like all the regular posters are all busy studying their bums off for midterms, in my case, finals -___-. OMG haha it has a mole . lol

but, just got thru a long night of prep for tomorrow's nursing research final. i couldn't describe to you how dry that crwap is.
this morning, i headed out, and played in the snow for a bit, because it was so prettyful. the mass exam i wrote was a joke, i shouldn't have wasted that much time studying it, if i knew... but then again, i din't waste TOO much time on it, i was cramming for it anyway. lol x)

mmm. bussing today was horrible. a lot of waiting out in the cold. n i took a longer nap than expected, worse thing was, it wasn't even a good nap -___-.

but yes, probably won't be posting much, or any pictures until after next thursday's sim lab safety screen test is over. then my worries will be out the door, hopefully. n i can get back on track ! yes.

friday's the sim lab orientation, which is just a quick run through and look around the sim lab room i'm guessing. =/ i'm lazy to go, but it's not like i have a choice. but gah... bussing time is just gonna be so lame.

oh well. im calling it a night...

long tiring funfilled day ~

WOW has it been a long day, where to start?

Well, first thing in the morning, my mom barges into my room at 530am (after i slept at 1am in teh night before), yelling, "time to get up, we're gonna be late!" [she had to go for a CT scan, n i was to go along in case of anything n needed me to drive]

So i dragged my bum up in the cold, and got ready slowly. Made some weiners and put it on normal toast cuz we had no hot dog buns =(. Oh well, nonetheless, it was yummy. So we headed off.

Dootdedoo, parking was hella expensive. And we were running tight on time, so we entered thru the nearest entrance in which we asked a few staff ppl for directions. *poof* we were there. so then the nursey comes and talks to teh pateints together in the waiting room and tells them to drink these two big pop cups of water (that has added dye, but looks like water) and blah blah. So mom's like "whaaa x)" n this one guy chugged his super fast.

I decided to leave to save some parking money, n mom thought it was a good idea, to go home & get brother up so we could go malla fter mom was done. So i drove all teh way home (: safely.

then woke brother up, but he was an a-sh. N din't want to get up cuz he stayed up super late last night. Anywho. SO I tried to nap, n texted andi before i left the house again to fetch my mother.

She was done, n had to go washroom a lot. we went shopping. At first it was slow and unproductive at the mall but got some stuff.

lazy to post pictures, so i'll do it in word form.

- bought green tea latte ~ burnt my tongue

- exchanged brother's shirt @ H&M

- mom insisted i got legwarmers @ H&M so i did (:

- on the way to wal-mart, had KFC in the car. toonie tuesday ~

- wal-mart, tried on hats, had some stuff i wanted but meh. it can wait

- leaving to school, mom says, last store - payless shoe source FINDS MY SHOES ! (:

So for mom saying " u should start with short heels first." ending up picking out 3.5'' heels o_o that to vivian is like . BLAH?! die ! lol anyway bought one for 15$ cuz it was in the wrong box. nice fobby girl helped us. she was so kute x)

then headed to school in SUPER CRAZY rain. T_T got so wet. luckily it stopped when i got to school. I DID SEE A RAINBOW ALONG THE WAY !

Class.... too tired to care. din't get our papers back, no presentation. i wanted to sleep.. badly

so we bussed downtown after, FREEZING. n i was so tired i was hyper (andi pointed out - she knows me too well) - her mom gave me food when we got downtown. (: THANKS !

blah blah. home n mom made me practice wearing the heels and made me put on the dress. so here's the pics =P

breast cancer pink ~

I LOVE how everything for awareness of breast cancer is pink (: i love the awareness ribbon. anyway.

today was quite the productive day (: hahaha that is how i rate my days now, productive or non-productive.
but let's just say running on little hours of sleep is not exactly fun. it's not even the fact that i stayed up till 3am talking to the dork. it was cuz after that, i was super tired, but lady gaga's - paparazzi was playing over & over in my head, & i don't even know why, cuz i didn't even listen to it -___-;;

so i had a study date today, with Andi, n i was about to cancel, seeing as how i din't fall asleep till 530-6ish AM > <>
and we were off. hahaha nice chatting to andrew on the way there, haha he's funny.

anyway, we buried ourselves in rutherford fourth floor in cubicles after i got food from A&W, which i went to eat outside on the stairs, cuz i din't wanna bother anyway, etc.
so when i got back in, andi showed me this picture from metro which made my day, PINK FIREMEN (: MMMmmMMM so i had to post it !

ANYWAY, i got thru skimming year one lab material. woot ! one little tiny breath at a time. sigh* it's like every two minutes i'll freak out and stress out again =(

n we get our papers back tomorrow, hopefully! i'm excited. but i'm not so excited about the presentation crap we're doing again. so lame. SO WANT TO SKIP -__-

a hype-but slow day~

what did i do today, what happened today. Ooo someone broke something at the bath and body works. basically, i did super speed window shopping today, in hopes of finding a dress i like at a decent price, no luck. my brother however found a suit ~ quite nice for a decent price apparently.

but ANDI, my lifesaver (: bought a dress from china, and me being her best friend, she's letting me wear it first ! =) what a doll. i owe you one-hundred andi ~

what a morning ! lol totally slept in. i wonder why... but yea, this morning was an extremely unproductive day! and then BAM, past ten pm was extremely productive. (: even though i feel like i could've done a lot more in the day, but im glad the end of my day was productive at least.

it makes me feel remotivated, i feel the need to become a study-holic and get past this obstacle and be back on track.

hm. ameel and i are suppose to go donate blood. which i haven't donated ever before still lol. x.x I WANT TO KNOW MY BLOOD TYPE T_T !
